On The Whole, I'd (MUCH!) Rather Be In Canada


My apologies for the long gap here in posts; getting settled has taken longer than I thought, but the events of yesterday and today certainly deserve comment. After the outcome of the election, I'm happier than ever to be living out of the U.S., but sad for what's happened to the country. It's a damn shame. The zealots appear to have taken over, and one can only imagine with horror what havoc will be wreaked upon the economy, the environment, the people, and the spirit of at least half the citizens in the States. Oh, the humanity!

Now, the only thing that would put a cap on my disgust and dismay is if they acquit Scott Peterson.

It's a sad, sad day, my fellow Americans.
