Fall 2004 Broadcast Network Season Schedule Analysis Ready!

Check it out! There are some interesting series coming up this fall and beyond, and some even earlier, what with the networks putting efforts towards more aggressive programming during the normally slack summer months. It's probably a great place to start some series, but what do you do if you have a bomb and it's suddenly September? Of course it will all come down to money -- somebody's gotta pay for all these new episodes -- and I expect more broken series littering the broadcast highway as time goes by. That's money down the drain, and we'll see how this year-round hoopla finally plays out.

I think HBO has the best tack on this -- their signature series rotate in and out regularly, never leaving you without something new and exciting to watch. Not sure that most of the broadcast nets will be able to generate the same sense of anticipation, but good luck to them all!
